FDG Export FZE is a Dubai-based manufacturer and supplier of ductile iron drainage products, serving contractors and developers across the GCC and the European Union.

The company's roots are European: covers and gratings supplied across Spain, Italy, Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia and Slovenia since the 1990s — including supply for the motorway networks of Croatia, Italy, Serbia and Republika Srpska, where EN 124 compliance is mandatory and every unit is installed in a running carriageway.

We operate as a contract manufacturer. The intellectual property is ours — the designs, the drawings, the R&D and design oversight — and production runs in partner foundries under our quality control. The foundries are not ours; the product is. That is why every dimension published on this site is read from our own manufacturing drawings, and why the EN 124 certificates for the published cover and grating ranges are issued to FDG Export FZE, not borrowed from a catalogue.

The R&D work shows up in the metal: lighter, sturdier covers and frames that clear their load class — engineered to the specification rather than padded past it.

The same partner foundries cast more than drainage. Alongside covers, channel and gratings we supply ductile iron valves, flanges and surface boxes for the buried water and wastewater network — the same metallurgy and the same quality control, serving the same contractor from the surface down.

Three decades in these supply chains also means we know where to get things. Where a project needs metals, mill products or made-to-specification items alongside its drainage package, we source those to requirement too — project sourcing, kept separate from the range we manufacture ourselves.

Today, FDG castings are on projects for Sobha, Trojan, ADNOC, Dar Al Aayan and Dove Contracting, and the range is expanding across Qatar, Oman and the wider region.
